One of the group's recent Scandinavian projects was the majestic Villa Vatnan. Perched on top of a hill, the bold, striking design of this house creates a feeling of open space in which natural light is an important part of the interior experience.

The Nordic group's objectives were to create a bold, modern design that maintained an unobtrusive and understated demeanour. The contrast between the stark concrete of the interior walls, and the soft wood features strikes this balance beautifully.

The house is arranged over two floors, with all main living spaces located on the top floor, to take advantage of the 360 degree aspect of the villa's location. Floor to ceiling windows allow the natural light to flood in, and showcase the true beauty of the spectacular landscape.
