Rustic a la Scandi

Rustic a la Scandi

This gorgeous home in Sweden is a sheer delight for anyone that loves Scandinavian-influenced interiors design It has a calm, rustic feel with accents of Arabia and some lovely antique pieces to complement the more traditional Nordic design features. Clean white walls, wooden floors and a cosy corner fireplace are matched with floral woven rugs, plenty of throws and rich, earthy colours. Plenty of inspiration to be drawn here for homes of any size!

This apartment maintains a lot of light with its open plan style, and strikes a lovely balance between using interesting and varied decorative features, but remaining uncluttered.

The rich colours of the antique chest fit beautifully with the decorative cushions and mis-matched throws on the sofa. Stylish yet undoubtedly cosy!

The Arabian-influenced ceiling light is a real feature in this bedroom. We also love the earthy pastel colour scheme that comes through from the artwork, plant pots and throws.

Although not super modern, this kitchen still maintains a really attractive style. The white wooden floors are a beautiful and typical feature of many Scandinavian homes. We also love the open beechwood shelving and efficient use of space. The small pot plans help to avoid too sterile a look, and add nice splashes of colour to complement the room design.
