Villa Bondö | Kjellgren Kaminsky Architecture
At Nordique we adore Nordic architecture and this villa on the outskirts of Gothenburg is no exception! Overlooking a beautiful lake and surrounded by birch and pine, Villa Bondö, is a unique family house with a stylish, seamless interior.
The closed entrance facade shields the view while arriving at the property. Before entering the house you can glimpse the lake through the glazed entrance window, a sneak peak at the beautiful vista that is to follow.
The main feature of the building is “the church”, a gable-roofed, double-height space, with floor to ceiling windows facing the lake.
The cavernous space inside the house reveals the wonderfully peaceful panorama. Seamless design links the rooms, with a minimalistic, Scandinavian interior.
The peaceful, birchwood terrace is a beautiful spot for quiet contemplation on a spring morning.
Sympathetically designed to fit with this natural environment, this house is a beautiful balance between natural Nordic elements, and the best of high end contemporary Scandinavian design. We love it!
