We love your way of combining flowers and food. How did it all start?
I have always been interested in Flowers and food and ways of combining them. The graphic beauty of the nature is amazing.
Do you grow any flowers or food yourself?
I have a small garden approx. 400 m2 where I grow fruits, berries, vegetables, flowers and green grass for my children to play on.
Can you recommend any edible flowers?
Tropaeolum majus / nasturtium - I really like the flowers in red and yellow for salads in summertime.
What is traditional Danish food?
It could be porridge form oat, rye bread, layered cake with crème vanilla, cabbage and salted bacon.. I could go on :-) In summertime it is Strawberry, Green Peas and Rhubarb
What's for lunch?
Rye bread with liver paste or rye bread with sliced egg and mayo or rye bread with Danish salami
What are some of your kitchen "must haves”?
Lemon, oil, garlic, carrots, cucumber, cabbage, cheese
What shall we serve when throwing a party?
Good quality food and lots of wine
Can you recommend any Danish cafés or restaurants?
In Vejle (25 km from Kolding) there is a bread shop called Brød og Co (Bread and co) and they are really keen on making amazing bread - and they are very successful in doing so.
