God Jul ('Merry Christmas') from Nordique! As with many European countries, Christmas in the Scandinavian nations is celebrated on the 24th of December. We have a special Christmas treat for all of our readers - beautiful shots of stunning Nordic landscapes. As these pictures show, Scandinavia is home to some of the most diverse, inspirational and evocative natural scenes on the planet. Some inspiration to help you plan your 2017 trip to the Nordic region!

All of these wonderful photographs were taken by photographer František Tóth. He started photographing in 2011 as a means of self-expression, and inspired by the beautiful landscapes all around him. "It is so important that a photo leaves an impression on me, it does not matter whether positive or negative, what matters is that it evokes some emotions in me." We can certainly see that exhibited in the selection of photographs above - inspirational stuff!
