Scandi X-mas decor

With December nearly upon us, Nordique is starting to feel very Christmassy! Sunday was the first day of advent - a Scandinavian tradition of marking the four Sundays before Christmas - so we are really into the countdown phase now!

Christmas in Scandinavia shares many traditions with other European and North American nations, but with some twists. Current trends for a super-stylish Scandi Christmas are for neutral tones, understated, elegant decorations and warm, cosy lighting effects. Of course we still need to have a beautiful Scandinavian fir tree to keep the presents under!
